Sadovnikov Vladimir Gennadievich |

- was born in 1928. In 1953 graduated from Kazan Institute of Aviation and was appointed to "Yuzhmach" factory of Dnepropetrovsk. There he began his profound study of missile building, and in 1958 г. was transferred to Izhevsk Mechanical Factory, where production of air-to-air missiles was transferred. There he became the Head of Specialized Designers Bureau.
In 1960 he became the Chief Engineer of the factory.
In 1966 Mr. Sadovnikov was appointed as Director of Votkinsk Machine Building Plant Votkinsky Zavod. He played a tremendous part in fielding in serial production of tactical and intercontinental ballistic missiles. Retired in 1988.
